JovemBrasil
A think tank run by students. We write short papers on how Brazilian institutions work in practice and what can be changed in them.
We work on institutional reform in Brazil: the rules, the agencies and the incentives that decide whether a policy reaches anyone at all. Each paper runs 1,500 to 2,500 words on a single problem, with a source behind every claim that needs one.
We write for people our own age, because the country these institutions produce in twenty years is the country we will be living in.

1
Someone picks a problem
A secondary school student proposes the subject and writes the first draft, working from public data and open sources.
-
2
Undergraduates read it and disagree
Review is done by undergraduates in the field. They mark what doesn't hold up, and the draft goes back for rewriting as many times as it takes.

It goes up as a PDF
The final version sits here in the open, with the name of whoever wrote it and whoever reviewed it.

Send the subject you want to look into and why it matters. You don't need a finished draft, or any idea where to start.
